Flight Simulators

Flight simulators appeal to a large variety of people as they could be utilized at home for fun or to prepare pilots in training. Today they have reached a new level of realism. Surely just about everyone has daydreamed while sitting on a holiday flight about being the one in the cockpit flying the airplane. The aim of flight simulation is to deliver a hazard free flying experience. Imagine while seated at home, being situated into a computer generated environment that's so amazingly real, it's difficult to decide what's reality. Anyone whose desire is to someday become a pilot would give anything to control their own aircraft should be well advised to begin with a flight simulator.
Scenery and real environmental features are the main graphical features in a good simulator. Having several capabilities and equipment in a simulator allows you to improve your skills. In the game facet of the simulator your choice ought to be one that provides you with various aircraft such as helicopters, gliders, passenger jets and even fighter jets to maintain your heart thumping and keep you ready for more. You can amplify your experience even further by adding hardware such as flight simulator joysticks, yokes, pedals and many additional controllers.

Taking a vacation flight with friends and family is yet another illustration of a storyline that might be followed, looking around at the beautiful day scenery and gazing at the stars and lights at night which are featured in many flight simulators. Experimenting with different features and different types of flying such as, night or day flying, flying around the world, testing the auto pilot, practicing mid flight refueling, controlling dark runway illumination, and even choosing which airport to land in.
Flight simulators are far beyond being only a computer game because it puts you as the pilot in control along with the ability to produce everything regarding your next departure. WoW Gold Farming Tips and Guide for Beginners

Looking for WOW gold guide that you can use and follow? Then here's the nifty blueprint formula to help make you rich.
(1) Northrend Land
Before, the Northrend land was used to be viewed as a frozen dampsland inhabited by spiders, monsters, and treasure hunters. While this cold-inhabited place still remains to be cold as ever, it does offer today a diverse source for exploitation.
• If you're looking for WOW gold place to farm then the Northrend provides the best place to start as it offers a decent source for it - enough to cover for an expansion. And while most of the quests is not really enough to make you filthy rich in one day, the amount of pay you'll receive here is definitely more than enough to cover your bills.
• Missing the good old daily quest? It's back and back with a vengeance. Complete with all the good stuff from the previous outland, these daily quests include PVP dailies and cooking, and also with considerable gold payment for each completion.
• There's a fairly reasonable reason why competition is very high in Sholazar Basin. It's because the place is considered as the most ideal goldmine for gathering professionals. The tension here is very high though unlike in most other places. In fact, faction combat could errupt anytime, especially when you're around the Nesingwary Base Camp.
(2) WoW Gold in Outland
Opposite to the cold and harsh diversity of Northrend, Outland is a very beautiful place that harbors the major hub of the game. It also happens to be one of the best places to earn gold - serious amount of gold.
• The first step for you to be able to earn gold in this area is to stop running away from scary monsters that inhabit the place. Gold is everywhere here, if you can't beat them, then it will be much harder for you to farm gold here.
• Remember. No matter how many stones or rocks you gather, your character's mining ability will only increase by one point for every qualifying rock node you successfully mine.
• Motes - they're not really that hard to find given you know where to hunt them. The Mana in Netherstorm, Life in Zangarmarsh, Air, Earth, & Shadow in Nagrand, and Fire in Shadowmoon. If you don't know where these are, then just look for the corresponding Outland elementals for details.
• If your character is over level 80, then doing Loremaster achievements is your definite ticket to WoW gold richness. You can actually do hundreds of gold making quests that are a lot easier to complete.
(3) Popular WoW gold strategies
If you don't have the patience to apply and complete a quest, don't worry, there's more than one way to gather all those golds.
• Auction House - Never underestimate the power of auction. Whether you're dealing potions, reagents, weapons, or epic weapons, the auction house can be your best ally especially in times of commodity shortage.
• Trade Channel - In particular, watch out closely for channel 2 as most of the best deals happen here.

Zygor Guide Review - The Best World of Warcraft Leveling Guide

If you are looking to buy Zygor Leveling Guide but are worried about the efficiency of this product due to the negative online reviews claiming that this product is a 'SCAM' then first of all, I want to tell you that Zygor Leveling Guide is an absolutely genuine product with some great features to offer. However, it is difficult to say if this product is the best but it is certainly one of the top leveling guides available out there.
What is Zygor Leveling Guide and what is it for?
For people who don't know much about this product, Zygor Leveling Guide is a faster aid for in-game wow leveling. It helps players to level faster than what they can without using this program. Zygor also eliminates the need to continuously use Alt-Tab for swapping through windows of game and the guide.
Why use Zygor?
Well latest version of Zygor 3.0 comes with some robust features. You can even easily level to 85 for the Loremaster achievement. Zygor 3.0 also offers an improved Smart Injection System with some pre-leveled characters, heirlooms etc. Here is what you get from the latest version of Zygor.

So there is no need to locate the website for help or a PDF file for, you can just stay on the interface for all answers. Moreover, Zygor Guide also shows you the optimized path to complete more quests in less time.

The interface makes it really easy to scroll through the levels and quests. You can click any quest and start working on it. However, the guide suggests to start a little early like a level or two before your chosen level so you can work on the local quest chains.

What flaws are there in Zygor Leveling Guide?
Well you can't really say that this Guide is flawless. Like any other product this one also has some cons which may bother you. So let's check out the flaws.
  • Details- The detail are not helpful sometimes as you may end up making mistakes without detailed information about the quests. They really need to update some more details. There are also some spelling mistakes in the info.
  • Sales Page- Zygor irritates you with these promotion pages shouting BUY NOW and LIMITED BONUS. It seems too pushy so you may wonder that why would they incorporate such a thing when I have paid for this.
  • Bugs- You may come across some bugs or glitches very now and then. However, can be reported on the forum to get a solution.
  • Enemy problem- In many cases you will find that the enemies come in a level to which they don't' belong. Although, it is not much of a problem for experts, beginners may feel a bit frustrated.
What are the best features of Zygor Leveling Guide?
Zygor Guide is one of the best leveling guides for offering some great features and its flaws are very less in comparison to the pros of this product. Let's explore some of them.
  • Flexibility: Zygor Guide is very flexible to users' needs, it provides the power to add or remove features. You can even start from anywhere you like skipping the chain of quests.
  • Waypoint Arrow: This is surely one great thing to have. The Waypoint Arrow will take you to the right direction displaying the time and distance to reach the required destination.
  • Installation: Zygor 3.0, which is the most advanced version of this guide, comes with an installation wizard to help you out during the installation process. You can also take a video tour if there is any problem.
  • Compatibility: Zygor Leveling Guide is equally compatible for Windows and MAC.
  • Support: It provides unmatched support network. Anytime you need help or you have a bug to report just go to the forum and report the matter.
  • Auto Tracking: Now Auto tracking is an impressive feature too, every time you complete a quest, the guide will support you in questions like where to go and what to do.
  • Info and Tips: Zygor Guide provides information on each quest with regular tips on how to complete a specific quest. However, this feature needs to be more appealing.
  • Updates: It offers lifetime support and updates to cope up with the ever changing environment.
  • Ease: The interface of Zygor 3.0 is very easy to use. You don't really need to switch windows several times like when using a PDF file or website for reference.
Verdict
So should you buy Zygor Leveling Guide? In my opinion yes you should. It is a fast and accurate way of levling the game which offers full value for its money. If you have never tried Zygor then I recommend using a trial version to find out what it is all about and if did then I really don't need to say more. In my opinion the Unique Selling Points of this product are:
  • Accuracy with speed;
  • Frequent updates; and
  • Support
I recommend Zygor for its ease of use. If you are a beginner or an expert, Zygor 3.0 is for you. I don't say that it is the best leveling program but surely it is among the top crop and a recommended buy.

Having Fun With The Online Crazy Taxi Game

The online version of the Crazy Taxi game can provide hours of fun and excitement to kids and it is also free. As the name suggests you are in control of a taxi, and have to drive as fast as possible while avoiding or jumping over other cars and obstacles. Have you ever experienced sitting in a taxi and asking the driver to drive fast to your destination. How scary and exciting would the ride have been? Well, now you get to drive a taxi like crazy, which gets your adrenaline pumping and gives you unlimited hours of excitement.
The History of the Crazy Taxi game
Crazy Taxi first started as a popular arcade game in 1999 and was developed by SEGA. After that it was ported by Acclaim to GameCube, Nintendo and PlayStation 2 platforms. As the popularity of the game increased it was ported to several other platforms and many sequels were also made. The original gameplay of the arcade version consisted of taking passengers to their destinations in the shortest possible time and avoiding obstacles and other vehicles on the way. The general direction of the passenger's destination was indicated by a green arrow and if you reached the destination on time, the passenger's fare was included in your total. If you failed to make it in time the passenger would take another cab and you had to start all over again.
When the online platform became popular for driving games, crazy taxi 1 was introduced which became an instant hit, even though there were other bus driving games and truck driving games available online. The online game is a much simplified version of its original arcade version and is a simple Flash game which kids enjoy. It is quite appropriate for kids of any age group as there is no violence or graphic scenes and the crashes too are very mild with a colliding sound.
The Present Version of the Crazy Taxi game
The online game is usually a Flash game which will take a few seconds to load depending on the speed of your Internet connection and once it is loaded, the play is not affected by the speed of your connection. You can play unlimited times and the game will start automatically after one is over. The online Crazy Taxi game has simple controls where the speed is controlled by the up and down arrows and the side arrows are for changing directions. The space bar is used to jump over obstacles and other vehicles. Pressing the space bar once will make your taxi jump twice and hence if there are two vehicles blocking your path you can jump over both by pressing the bar only once. The aim of the game is to reach the destination as fast as possible before the time runs out.
Although the online game is very simple there are many other versions which provide additional gameplay which is similar to the original arcade version. Taxi games became quite popular after the introduction of the online game and now you can find certain gaming sites which only have taxi driving games. These later versions have much better graphics and also have many levels of play giving you a chance to master advanced skill levels.
The online game has also got versions which are specific to certain countries. Here the road layouts and the model of the taxi vehicle will be according to what is prevalent in that country. So select an online game according to your tastes and level of skill, and play absolutely free, as many times, as you desire.

A Balanced View of Computer Games

When you look at your computer; do you visualize how you are going to enjoy your favorite games? Computer games have become a natural habit for millions of people today. Are you gradually becoming addicted to them; or are you depriving yourself of the gaming fun that the rest of the world is enjoying. This article will discuss computer games. But the principles are also applicable to online games as well.
Benefits of computer games
Computer games can help relax the mind. They can also help an individual to pass time in high spirits. There is a variety of online games depending on your choice. But there are games which can even supply you with some basic knowledge in a particular field. The following are some of the advantages of games:
  • They keep the mind active and alert.
  • They allow people to pass time in a good mood - at least most of them do.
  • They create a platform for imparting knowledge indirectly.
  • They cheer up an individual in a bad mood.
  • When parents are too busy; they keep the children fully occupied.
  • They train an individual to have quick fingers; and a sharp mind when dealing with computer.
The dark side of gaming
You might have enjoyed free online games for sometime. Perhaps you had even managed to download your favorites. But there are many disadvantages which come with them. It takes time and a practical self-examination to see them taking effect. The disadvantages of gaming include the following:
  • They sometimes consume time for doing important things.
  • They can promote bad vices like violence and gambling.
  • They do not promote interactions with real people in the world.
  • Some of the games can leave you exhausted after playing for long hours.
  • They can create negative moods unnecessarily.
  • They are sometimes addictive and demanding - especially when left unchecked.
  • They can affect your personal communication with others - you can end up becoming an irritating spot.
A balanced view of gaming
Computer games are enjoyable when strict control measures are in place. They help different people to have a nice time. But some of the games can have a bad influence on your emotions. You need to play only games that are wholesome and educative.
But even when you choose the best games, you need to check the amount of time you spend on them. If you are not careful about the monitoring mechanism, then the games are a curse. But if you control the gaming thrill, you will pronounce them a real blessing. If you have children; they may need help to understand the dangers of spending too much time on games. Train them to develop good reading habits.

Is The Pro Flight Simulator The Most Realistic Simulator Ever Created?

Wouldn't it be exciting if a game could enable you to fly approximately 120 aircraft's, and land at 20,000+ airports right from the comfort of your own home? Give you the opportunity to pick one of those planes and fly to any destination around the globe. You would probably be either very excited or in some sort of disbelief. Well this article is not fictional and there is such a product that could do just that. The Pro Flight Simulator is a fully functioning flight simulator where you can experience Real-Life flying with exact scenery worldwide. All environmental data is compiled from actual destinations around the world. The shape of the land, the alignments of planets and the actual aircraft reactions to certain variables is all calculated using real world data. This not only is the most sophisticated game around, but it is also used to teach student pilots or pilots that require additional hours of flight...now that's realistic! The dashboard controls and monitors were created based on real life cockpits. Night flying is an enjoyable option, because of how realistic and exact the scenery looks on the ground. When your flying over urban areas, you will notice a concentration of lights on the ground, the shine of headlights as cars travel on main roads and the glow of approach lights from a nearby airport. This simulator does it all!
To get started all you need to do is pick a plane and a destination(China, Australia, Europe) anywhere on the globe and start flying. The simulator is equipped with a Time Of Day Model that places the moon, stars, sun...etc in their proper place in the sky. It can also tell that if its morning in Europe at that time, then its morning in Europe on the simulator. All the planets follow their correct orbits through the sky...Amazing! The weather is another feature that can be altered. You have the ability to feel the effects of Gail force winds, snow, lightening or rain on your altitude or the direction of your plane, forcing you to make the correct adjustments to be able to fly through it. If any of your decisions are incorrect, like in real life, your plane will have a greater chance of loosing control or even crashing. It doesn't get any more realistic than that!
Our opinion of The PRO Flight Simulator is that it could be used as an amazing game, with many hours of fun and enjoyment. The graphic's are sharp and finely detailed. All airplanes and airports are an exact representation of their era. The scenery was breathtaking and true to life as you fly over Paris, Italy, Africa and other destinations around the globe. The controls were true, so any errors were quickly apparent. We enjoyed the whole experience that you get when you get behind the wheel of The Pro Flight Simulator.

A Look at Deus Ex Human Revolution

I've just been playing Deus Ex Human Revolution and, considering how hyped the title has been, I thought those of us that have played it may want to share our opinions. It may also help some of you decide whether to buy the game or not. Firstly forgive me if this sounds like something you've read on IGN; I wrote for them once, among other sites, and it has had a profound effect on how I discuss games:
For those of you who have never heard of Deus Ex and have no idea what the fuss is all about I would like to enlighten you: In 2001 a small and insignificant game studio - their greatest contribution at that point being the widely panned and ridiculed Anachronox - released a game that would be anything but small and insignificant. Deus Ex was a FPSRPGACTIONADVENTUREPUZZLE game that turned to the gaming world and said, "Yo. THIS is how you make a game." The gaming world simply stared back in awe. Deus Ex is widely credited as the single best and most complete PC game ever created. Any gamer worth anything has Deus Ex somewhere in their top 10 as a non-mover (along with Fallout 2). Not to labour the point or anything. If you're not sold at this point there is very little hope for you; you may leave.
This of course creates a problem: It is hard for me - as someone who has played the original extensively - to view Human Revolution in spite of its predecessor. So as I discuss the game, you may find me journeying back and telling you about how the old game did it. It may even turn into a "Deus Ex did this, Human Revolution doesn't" affair. I apologise in advance but Deus Ex is the type of game that you can't help doing this with, in the same way World of Warcraft fanboys vehemently claim that vanilla WoW was better than Cataclysm. Perhaps this potent inability to enjoy Deus Ex Human Revolution for what it is - a game of nearly unrivalled ambition and scope - is responsible for my inability to enjoy it to any great degree.
(OH NO HE SAID SOMETHING CRITICAL).
Deus Ex is a pretty but fractured game, both practically and metaphorically. The graphics are interesting in places but that is a credit more to the art team than the engine designers. Facial animations are horrendous, anti-aliasing doesn't seem to actually manage to anti any of the aliasing, and the engine is like an epileptic riding a bus... as it drives over shale. There will be moments where extreme precision will be required, where every ounce of your experience as a gamer must be leveraged in a glorious display of how utterly awesome you really are (despite the fact that you're supposed to write a 2000 word essay and will probably fail the semester if you don't get it in tomorrow)... and then the game will stutter. And you'll miss the shot. And then you'll be piled on by 600 mercenaries. And you'll die. And then you'll have to deal with the 10 minute loading times. Add that to the fact that, in a handful of places, the game is genuinely hard and you have a cocktail that induces pure, vein-popping frustration...
(As a brief aside: has anyone else noticed how - of late - we've started to actually get games that need players to think? Prior to The Witcher 2 it was all "aim assist" rubbish and "detailed quest trackers" bollocks. Now it's... DEATH. DEATH AND FRUSTRATION. I regret ever saying games were too easy. I'm sorry. I really am. Anyway... I'm calm.)
Despite these momentary flutters of genuine difficulty, the game mainly resides in the "formulaic and tedious" realm of combat; it really is just another same old, same old FPS-based combat affair. The augmentation system is supposed to allow you to avoid this sensation but sadly augmentations are founded on a principle of limited, feigned choice and not real choice. Deus Ex gave you the ability to mix and match a vast amount of alterations and buffs that allow you to play the game how you want to play it. Human Revolution merely gives you three brackets: guns, not guns, everything else. When you make a choice in a basic skill you are making a choice to take one set of skills over another. There is no expansiveness to it; just pick a group and follow the line. Of course you can "come back and pick it up later" with skills and there are a fair amount of basic traits for you to get as you play along. The fundamental problem is however that the skill system seems to follow an "it doesn't matter how you get there but by the end of the game these boxes will be ticked" mentality. When I get to the end of an RPG I want to be powerful but I also want to be limited. I want to feel like my character was crafted by me for good or for ill. If my build leads me to an ending where I can't win, so what? It's my build. Human Revolution doesn't deliver that sensation; Deus Ex did. And this, in all honesty, is really where Human Revolution needed to shine if it were to cone near to toppling its progenitor.
That isn't to say there aren't good things about this new-fangled Deus Ex reboot. The story is amazingly well scripted and - outside of games like Oblivion and Fallout 3 - I can think of no other single player game that has such a massively open world for you to explore and involve yourself in. Just like the best movies don't include the glorious action scenes exclusively, the best games are made great by the little things, not the massive explosions; Human Revolution has an amazing array of little things. From side quests to Easter eggs to mini-chains, Square Enix have spared no expense in really bringing the universe in which Deus Ex exists to life. Many FPS fans quip about games involving little videos of every NPC you shoot, giving you some background into their lives; Human Revolution has that. On some NPCs you may find PDAs with emails from their kids or wives. You may kill a scientist and then discover via her computer that she was expecting a child. It's all there and, more importantly, it's all done well. There is also a vibrant depth to the writing in the game which is surprising when you consider that Square Enix is behind the title (all Final Fantasy games are rubbish (there, I said it)). Sometimes there will be laugh out loud mockery of our society, at others times there will be comical references to real conspiracy theories. There are also some cutting observations about people thrown in there for good measure. The original took great risks in presenting some of the ideas it covered so openly. Human Revolution took that risk as well. In both cases it has paid off.
At the core of that bravery is your role as the player. You aren't just the proverbial faceless Master Chief or a bit part in the narrative. You don't just follow the linear plot to its ultimate and obvious conclusion. You aren't just given an array of basic choices based on a black-n-white idea of good and evil. Human Revolution takes you, puts you in your chair and says, "We go where you go." You can play the game without killing a single bad guy (aside from one or two bosses). You can play the game and kill everyone. You can side with an array of people and factions, or consider only your best interests. You can bully or you can empathise with your friends, or turn on them if you really want to. Every decision you make, big or small, has a profound and meaningful impact on the world around you. Whether it's as simple as which NPCs are there for you to talk to, who shoots at you, who doesn't, or as meaningful as altering the direction the story will take entirely, these decisions aren't just rudimentary options. They are choices based on moral standards firmly rooted in reality: Do I kill the hostage? Do I let her go? Do I let the terrorist go as well? Do I kill the terrorist and the hostage? Do I save the hostage and kill the terrorist? When the game presents you with a decision it doesn't just ask you to pick yes or pick no. It asks you what you genuinely think about the situation. This dedication to choice leaves you not being laboured by the story but being dedicated to and invested in it to the point where the momentary lapse into combat isn't too frustrating. And if you get bored of the combat, you can always go round flushing toilets and stealing cans from vending machines, clogging up your (Tetris) inventory.
(Another aside: has anyone notices how inventory systems these days are just lists? That's it. Everything is the same size, and it is all stored as items on a list. If life were like that I'd spend much more time shopping. If I could buy a 50 inch TV and have it take up the same space in my bag as a box of eggs I'd totally buy a 50 inch TV. Tetris inventory is so much fun though. I play it in real life sometimes. And then you get a packet of something squishy. And it messes up the communism. Bastard squishy packets. Anyhow. Chill pill acquired.)
I think at this point in time I've written a guide to, and not an insight into, the game and so I shall promptly (yeah... right...) conclude. Someone at Square Enix decided that Deus Ex would be better in a wheelchair and thus Human Revolution was born. It's not the original by any stretch. That said however Human Revolution largely triumphs where it has to triumph outside of a few hiccups here and there. It is a good game. Sadly it has been released in the same year as The Witcher 2, Skyrim and Battlefield 3 so it isn't going win any awards. Do I think everyone should play it? Yes. Yes I do.

What to Do If Your Game Is Too Scratched to Play

You have a game. It's scratched. What do you do?
Look, I'll be honest. There isn't much to do when these stuff happens but there might be something you can do.
The first thing you want to do is check your game's terms and conditions. Video game companies realize that at some point the game's disc will be scratched and you won't be able to play anymore. That's why most companies add to their terms and conditions the ability to burn one copy of the disc for backup purposes. if this is correct for your game than you can copy the disc with a burning software if you own one. Be sure to use the speed of 4x for the purposes of reading and copying the disc in order to prevent mistakes in the image created by your burning software. If you use a higher speed you are taking a risk to screw the copy and damage the original disc altogether. if you have the ability to verify the disc be sure to do so. You don't want to burn the disc and then one day, after your original disc is no longer useable, discover that your backup is also screwed.
Another thing to do is to check with the webpage of the company of the game if there is a downloadable digital version of your game. if there is, it's better to use it because after it is downloaded and installed you get to keep the installation file on a backup drive or a disc and the game itself will not require a disc.
If you have a friend who owns the same game, maybe you want to borrow the game for a day or two for the purpose of burning your legal backup copy.
if worst comes to worst, you might want to use a No-CD crack or patch. This is only advised if you have an original ownership of a game. I prefer to contact the support of the company. You'd be surprised how many solutions they can provide you with. They created the game, trust them to know how it works best and how to support you with it.
Most games nowadays are published with both a digital version and a disc version. The company whose game you bought would like you to keep playing their game. that is their interest. if you think that they won't help you it doesn't hurt to ask.
A last word of advice. If you have a disc drive with a history for screwing discs, do something about it. Nowadays it should not be expansive to buy a DVD drive which is also a disc burner.
I hope I've been helpful to all of you. Let me know if there is something you want to ask.
Alive2Play is the home of many gamers!
If you play insane hours on the computer or console, have a wide knowledge of games and even develop the passion to talk about those games aside from just playing them, you're in the right place!

How To Improve The Terrain Mesh Of Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Out of the box, with the last SP2 update MS FSX certainly looks and performs much better than the last version of MS FS 2004. MS FSX was originally developed in mind to give hardware 2 or 3 years out from its release date a real performance work out. Even 5 years later on, if you were to drag all the visual and performance sliders all the way to the right you would suffer big frame rate dips at busy airports.
Although MS FSX looks pretty good after SP2, for those that really crave a higher level of realism there are many good pay ware add-ons that you can buy and install to improve the realism and visuals of MS FSX.
The first thing you want to begin installing are terrain mesh updates. All the visual scenery that you see in MS FSX are overlaid on top of a wireframe mesh. How accurate this wireframe mesh is, will determine how accurately the visual scenery is placed. Mesh data in short contains terrain elevation data for a specific region. This mesh data is used to create a 3d model of terrain features such as hills, mountains, cliffs, plateaus, valleys etc.
The default resolution of the terrain is quite low in MS FSX, especially in rural and country areas. How does a terrain mesh affect you as a flyer? Quite simply if you love to fly VFR than a terrain mesh upgrade with a higher resolution will allow MS FSX to depict the terrain elevations more accurately than it already does.
For example, the default mesh resolution for the United States in MS FSX is 38.2m. This basically means that the height of the terrain is measured every 38.2m. You can buy terrain mesh updates that now offer United States terrain information at a resolution of 10m. This means that the terrain elevation is sampled every 10m. The difference in the depiction is that instead of terrain features looking smoothed out, mountains will appear craggy and individual subtle terrain differences are better modelled.
The best to start finding mesh updates is on Google. Terrain mesh add-ons are generally region specific due to their large size, for example you will download and install a terrain mesh for United States or Canada or Europe separately. You can find meshes as either payed or freeware. In general payed meshes will offer higher resolutions and meshes for more exotic locations. Regardless, a terrain mesh upgrade will make a real tangible experience for those that want to practice flying VFR and navigating using key landmarks.
I am an avid flight simmer. Installing MS FSX add-ons is a bit of an advanced upgrade, If you are new to MS FSX than you should start of by making sure you have the right kind of flight controllers. If you like to fly combat aircraft such as the F-18 consider a HOTAS controller such as the thrustmaster warthog or the saitek x52 pro.

How To Play Rift Like A Pro - Surefire Strategies For Rift Success

Today you are going to learn how to play Rift like a pro. This hugely popular MMORPG can be frustrating to play if you are new to the genre, but by reading the following guide you will be a top player in next to no time. These basic and intermediate tips and strategies are easy to follow, and provide an excellent base for improving your skills in this game.
  • Learning the mechanics of combat is one of the most important things that you can do when starting out with Rift. Basically, you can either use the left mouse button, or the TAB key, to select enemies. I recommend that you use TAB to allow yourself to quickly scroll through enemies. Use it to locate the threats closest to you so that you can respond with speed and avoid taking damage.
  • Whenever you use a skill/spell/action in combat there is a Global Cooldown period. Your abilities will grey out for a second as they recharge.
  • Use the Right mouse button to attack your enemies with ranged/melee weapons or equipped spells.
  • When you are engaged in combat your health will not automatically regenerate (until the combat has finished) Mana does continue to regenerate during combat, however. If you require healing you will have to use spell/potions/healing items, or have an ally heal you.
  • Classes in Rift: Planes of Telara are generally referred to as 'callings'. There are four main callings- Warrior, Rogue, Mage, and Cleric. Each calling is then broken down into a series of sub-callings, known as 'souls'. You can select up to four souls from your calling to put points into. However, by using all four souls you will "water down" your character and have a hard time creating a powerful build (unless you are 100% positive of what you are doing)
  • Completing quests is the fastest and most efficient way to gain experience points during earlier stages of the game. Don't waste your time with huge amounts of combat, or Rifts/invasions until you have hit at least level 20. Once you progress this far through the game you will have a better feel for combat and be more readily able to do both PvE and PvP combat successfully.
  • If you die you can either wait for an hour to respawn in your current location (when you respawn you get a few seconds to get to safety) or your 'spirit' can be resurrected at a nearby graveyard, and you can make your way back to your body and revive yourself. Rift is fairly kind when you die, which will happen.
  • Guardian and Defiant are the two 'factions' in the game- walk into the opposing faction's areas and you run the risk of being killed.
  • If you are unsure of what calling to select then I highly recommend that you play as a Rogue. This calling has a lot of powerful souls and effective builds available.

Make Money by Playing and Testing Video Games

Did you know that every day gaming companies pay big bucks to people like you and me just to know what we are thinking? They are desperate to understand how we think and shop and why we buy certain games or products because this helps their companies improve these products and they, in turn, pay good money for our opinion. Businesses which sell products to consumers do "field research" and the video gaming industry is no exception. If they release a game to the general public and there are bugs in it, they lose profits.
Why Are Video Games Testers' In Demand?
Research testing of video games is a crucial part of the industry's success as a whole, they need our feedback so they'll know beforehand if the game they've developed is a winner or a loser. Firstly, if they don't test they risk losing money on returns and reissues; Secondly, they lose money because some gamers won't purchase from them again and; Thirdly, they lose referrals which would have spread from one satisfied gamer to another. In order to make sure that this doesn't happen, they rely on video gamers to find glitches and problems within their video games. What level did the game slow down or freeze? Are the graphics appealing? Does it seems real to gamers? You could be filling in surveys and giving your opinions on how the game could be improved. Testing is conducted for some of the biggest names in the industry.
Video games are such a major form of entertainment these days. Now, you may be an avid games' player but have you ever really thought about making money from your hobby? You could make money by playing video games and testing them from home, setting your own hours. You can be in control of the amount of hours you work and, therefore, the amount of money you earn.
Make Money Playing Video Games
Since the world economy started to slow down and doesn't show any signs of improvement in the near future, the price of practically everything is rising. Nearly everybody knows someone who has either lost their job (and/or their home) is looking for work now, or doesn't know whether they will have a job at the end of the week. If one is looking for work maybe it's time to look at sectors other than the traditional ones...
You can get paid to play or review new games - you can keep them or sell them on later
You can get paid to take online surveys
You can get paid to participate in focus groups
You can get paid to try gaming consoles, controllers or other products and keep the freebies
You can get paid to preview a new movie or game trailers
You can get paid to review new memory cards, controllers, etc.
Get special walkthroughs, cheat codes and secrets
How Much Could You Make Working As A Video Games' Tester?
Well, usually, it's between $30 and $80 an hour, depending on the company for whom you are working. So, how much does that work out to over a month...
Lets be conservative, take the middle range and say that you work 5 hours a day @ $45.00 an hour = $225.00
Let's say you work 4 days = $900.00 a week
Over say, 10 months, because you'll want to take vacations, be busy doing other things, or whatever. Over 40 weeks you could be earning around $36,000. Or more if you want to ramp it up!!
Did You Know...
That the video gaming industry is one of the world's most profitable, pulling in more than 18 billion dollars in revenue each year with, on average, over 260 million games being sold across all platforms, such as the PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Wii. On average, according to The Entertainment Software Association, an astonishing 9 games are sold every second, every day of the year. Wow is that mind-blowing or what!!!
So, Why Not...
The sluggish economy does not seem to have affected the entertainment sector. If you are looking for a new job or say, a student needing to make some extra cash, then making money with gaming could be your answer.
Most of these companies offer a 60-day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. So, why not leave your comfort zone and give it a try. Make money playing video games as a video games' tester and join some of the best on the net. Learn their secrets and get paid accordingly. Make video game testing your job.
Nowadays with so many people losing their employment and others not knowing whether they will have a job from one day to the next, building up a business from home has to be the way forward.

Defy Gravity Extended PC

Defy Gravity entered the market quietly without too much fanfare. Most gamers looked upon it as an average game with no real substance. Fish Factory Games who developed it didn't create much hype about the game and very little was said about it in promotions material.
When you load the game an image of 'The Gauntlet' appears. 'Gravitymancers' go to 'The Gauntlet' to fight and prove themselves as great warriors. You go to the gauntlet to prove you are the best warrior and your main weapon is a gun which creates gravity and anti-gravity when you fire off a shot. You are protected by a shield so the effects don't harm you. You have to cross the field and exit to the next level avoiding many obstacles and dangerous enemies.
You can use the keyboard as the main control and it is very effective. The first level seems easy. You simply move in a straight line from one point to the next until you reach the exit. But as you progress it gets progressively harder and you find the game requires a lot of precision movements. The hazards are endless and pop up when you least expect and at the worst time. Sounds like real life doesn't it? Some of the obstacles are ships firing missiles at you, bottomless pits you can fall into, walls that move and crush you, and many other hazards.
In the upper levels clearing obstacles will become near impossible. You progress will slow to a crawl and you have to think clearly and wait patiently to make your next move. By the time you reach the halfway mark, the game will issue you with a warning that the easy part is over. From now on you will have to pay particular attention to your observation as many red herrings will appear to lead you into a trap and finish you off. If life hasn't thrown you a curve ball yet, this game will. You will soon realize that this game doesn't award you with the title of master easily. You will really have to work hard to earn it, and many who do, don't even achieve it.
The game doesn't have much narrative and it can get rather lonely playing it for hours with no end in sight. Before you play the game it's advisable to go the game's website and read the story before you begin. Once you start playing there is very little revealed to you and this can hinder your journey tremendously. You won't know anything about your enemies and this can be a grave disadvantage. Ask anyone whose been to war.
The game has very beautiful and aesthetic graphics. The developer took full advantage of modern graphic engines and the scenes are brilliant. There is no denying many painful hours were spent polishing off the game and making sure the final product was something near perfection. You can't go far wrong purchasing this game and even if you do manage to finish it, chances are you'll be playing it again and again. Most likely, you will refer it to all your friends'.

Enjoy Some Old School Driving Fun In Crazy Taxi PSP: Fare Wars

Crazy Taxi PSP is the handheld port of its two very popular predecessors: Crazy Taxy and Crazy Taxi Game 2. It was developed by Hitmaker and Sniper Studios, and was released by SEGA last September 2007 in Australia and the EU. And as can be expected, the combination of its two games delivers more of the mayhem that made the series great, while adding a few new twists that takes advantage of the PSP's capabilities.
But for those of you who have been unaware of this game for the past few years, here is what it's all about: you play as one of four taxi drivers, who must cruise around a selection of three cities to pick up passengers. You then drive them off to their respective destinations and collect the fare. It is that simple. However, the fun starts when you realize that there is a VERY stiff time limit in Crazy Taxi PSP, and you have other cab drivers who will stop at nothing to steal your fare away from you. The result: competitive driving mayhem at breakneck speeds.
What's New in Crazy Taxi PSP
Great as its concept already is, however, veterans of the series will notice a few more ways to add to the fun. First of all is the ability to ram your opponent's cab. This is highly useful when both of you are headed towards the same passenger, because you can nudge your opponent past, and be at the correct spot to take that fare instead of him. In addition, you can add insult to injury by using the interference feature, which slows down your opponent's fare delivery time.
Another cool feature of Crazy Taxi PSP is the new multiplayer function via Ad Hoc. This is the one that exploits the PSPs capabilities, and it is the first time that the series has implemented this function. With it, you can go head-to-head with a friend, and compete for the highest rank or fare. And if you only have one PSP to share between the two of you, there is also a turn-based multiplayer feature, which will still allow you to challenge each other on a single system.
Then you have the customizable music. As any fan of car driving games can tell you, great sounding music can make the difference between an adrenaline-filled ride and a boring one. And while Crazy Taxi PSP already has good music from the hard rock/punk rock genre, it still recognizes this element and allows you to transfer your favorite songs to a specified folder and play them instead (especially since the music from The Offspring and Bad Religion has been removed due to licensing issues).
What's Hot and What's Not in Crazy Taxi PSP
Porting issues aside, there are plenty of things to like in Crazy Taxi PSP. For one, there is still the good core gameplay, which has been praised in the past as being "deceptively complex" by numerous reviewers. It is quick, fun, and simple, which makes it perfect for those who want a quick diversion. And this aspect is supplemented by the pick-up-and-play mentality that the PSP offers.
And because it is almost a straight up port, the things that made those games fun are still there, like the crazy maneuvers you can do in Crazy Taxi 2, the selection of mini games to hone your skills, the ranking system, and that rewarding feeling of being appreciated by your passengers for driving recklessly. The graphics are also decent, and while they might look a bit old, the smaller size of the PSP's screen makes for a good display.
Unfortunately though, there are issues which plagued the originals (and then some) which have also made it through to the handheld: the loose controls, the slow loading times, the poor audio cues from some passengers, and the somewhat lacking sense of speed.
But all in all, Crazy Taxi PSP is a very good choice if you are looking for a quick game to perk you up during a lull time at the airport. But if you are a fan of story driven mayhem, like what you can find in most police car driving games, then you might be better off searching elsewhere. Still, that does not take away the fun of playing a classic. So consider that and enjoy Crazy Taxi PSP.

ProFlightSimulator Versus Microsoft

In the small world of flight simulation, there lays a tight community of very serious enthusiasts. These people are into the full flight experience and, if you think you are going to pull the wool or the cloud over their eyes with a cheap flight scene and some cheesy graphics, then you are in for a shocker. The people who purchase, or rather invest, in the ProFlightSimulator are hard core. Some are former pilots and some are people who are just becoming pilots or what they term the avid plane spotter and tech heads.
Now, most are so used to Microsoft Simulator X. When an enthusiast gets sweet on her, like a good lover, they hardly have the drive to venture out on their own to find anything different. To them, why mess with perfection? Until they pick up a magazine, you know, the ones tech heads and airplane enthusiasts read; and they see the new seductress the pro flight simulator that has a little something extra to offer.
It's normal. Most of these people are men and the ProFlightSimulator is the forbidden fruit that they must try. We will address what seduced most of them to the come to this side. The Microsoft Simulator X has a lot of bells and whistles, all those geeky little things the players love, like real time weather and programmable weather, IP VoIP so you can hear other players and play live, and satellite imagery of the entire world and that is just to name a few.
However, here is the clincher. For the common Joe or even the hard core gamer; it may be a frustration. All the fantastic choices and graphics you have aren't worth much if your PC can't handle it and it comes out choppy. It was said in one review that it is a giant resource hog and that the average person that has a PC specifically for gaming gets only 7-14 FPS, which is highly unacceptable.
Now, for the Pro flight simulator, it is much different. The appeal is that it is made for everyone! It has everything the Microsoft FSX has with exception to VoIP. But it has a superb online community that is constantly, with no exaggeration, just handing out free content. They are always creating new airplanes and helicopters, and the missions and scenarios are never ending. The bonus that makes the ProFightSimulator a winner hands down and converter of souls is that it has an excellent frame rate which brings all that the competitor has alive.

Is Dragon Age Worth the Money?

Dragon age is a role-playing game developed and released by Bioware, a division of EA.
Do you think it's worth your money?
Dragon age tells the story of a certain group called the "Grey Wardens". They are the protectors of humanity against the blight but let's start from the beginning. The story takes place in a country called Ferelden which is a part of the world known as Thedas. this world is inhabited by Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Qunari and DarkSpawn.
Humans are divided into countries and groups just like our own society. The most prominent Human areas in Dragon Age are Orlais, Ferelden, The Tevinter Imperium and the Free Marches. Other areas are mentioned as well but not as importantly. Orlais is mentioned because of the Chantry which is the religious faction in the game. In orlais sits Divine Justinia which is the sort of Supreme ruler of the chantry. The chantry believes in the maker who is Thedas' god. The Divine is believed to be favored by the maker. The chantry was founded after a 'prophet' called andraste, fought with the Tevinter imperium which is an empire controlled by mages who are abusing magic to their own ends. Other prominent factions in humans are the Mages and Templars. Mages are individuals who are born with magic and Templars are 'ungifted' individuals sworn to protect the world from it. Templars work as the sword of The Chantry. Mages are 'imprisoned' in Circles around the world where they study their art and are being watched by the Templars.
Elves are divided into city elves and Dalish elves. City elves are sort the kind of elves who have "given up" on their heritage and decided to become a part of Human cities, there they reside within "ghettos" known as Alienages. The other part of Elves are Dalish elves who see themselves as the true 'elvhen'. they span the globe in tribes, never staying in one place for long and each of them has a keeper which is a dalish mage who is tasked with archiving and the continued remembrence of their old lineage.
Dwarves live in the Deep Roads. They too have some factions. the Dwarves live in the city of Orzammar. The city itself is divided to quarters and each quarter is home to a different faction. Dust Town is home to 'dusters' which are people who are without a caste. Caste is kind of a title. a child in Orzammar inherits the title of his parent of same sex. it can be of the warrior caste, blacksmith caste and the Noble caste. the Warrior caste and Blacksmith caste are considered commoners while the Noble caste is the Nobility. Commoners and Nobles are divided into family houses in Orzammar. Most have a representative in the Assembly which is kind of their government meeting. there the Noble houses and the Royal house sit to make decisions regarding Orzammar. Most of the time it would end in shouts. The King or Orzammar rules the city but The Assembly is crucial to the king's rule.
Qunari are tall creatures, they are humanoid-like with a grey skin and horns coming out of their foreheads. They are not the kind you'll see everyday because they tend to keep to themselves but they do have a reputation of conquerors and hostile creatures. Qunari believe that everyone is born into their role and they can only choose to be(that role) or to die. they do not believe in gods but they do believe in some sort of "rules" collection called The Qun. they believe abiding by the qun gives them certainty while not believing in the Qun results in death. It is recently revealed in Dragon Age 2 that they believe that Mages are dangerous and should always be contained watched of killed in separated from their group.
All of this up until now seems like a very boring collection of lore on the game no? Well now we start to talk about the villain of the game - The Darkspawn.
What are the Darkspawn? no one really knows for a fact how they came to be. The chantry claims that the darkspawn is the punishment of the maker for trying to usurp his Golden City. The tevinter mages thought to enter the Fade, the realm of magic, demons, spirits and the maker, in order to seize control of the Golden city. By doing so they tainted the pure city and it became the Black city. in return the Maker punished those mages transforming them into the first darkspawn and banished them back to our world. There is a horrifying way the darkspawn use to increase their numbers but I won't spoil it for you.
So, let's go all the way back to our initial question. What's a blight? The tevinter imperium once believed in the old gods whom are actually intelligent dragons. A blight is the event where a darkspawn digs the earth far and wide and eventually finds and taints an old god. than the tainted old god rallies the darkspawn horde and starts to advance towards the living and exterminate them. The grey wardens exist as warriors in order to fight blights.
Does this game worth the money? I definitely think so. Personally I have played it for over 5 times. one of the best things about this game is its origin stories each character you make has is own story chosen by who are what you are. and the game responds to that origin throughout the game. you will meet funny characters, amazing places and exciting stories. Also, Dragon Age has lots of downloadable content which adds areas, characters and more story to the game. What's more, if you have heard about Dragon Age II, you probably know that you can import your saved data into the game and your decisions will be reflected in the world.
