iPhone 5 to Have New Processor and Operating System?

The rumors about the features of iPhone 5 have started circling once again after the release of iPhone 4S. Despite the huge anticipation, users did not get the 5th generation Apple smart phone. This caused great disappointment, but it also fueled up the speculations. Can we expect the 5th generation device to be even better and even more innovative?
The answer to this question is certainly "yes". While the newly released 4S model has a dual core processor and the new iOS 5 operating system, iPhone 5 is expected to have both new hardware and software. Are these just rumors? Is there ground to believe in them?
The introduction of the quad core processor Apple A6 is subject to many speculations. Most experts believed that it will be integrated into iPhone 5 and the iPad 3 with the latter being expected to premier in the first quarter of 2012.
This comes to suggest that Apple's 5th generation smart phone is highly likely to have a new and much more powerful processor. What will this bring to users? Faster performance is perhaps the main benefit that users will get. All actions will be executed more swiftly and with greater precision.
You can expect the camera to have greatly improved performance when it comes to producing both photos and videos. If the iPhone 5 gets to have a 12MP camera, the A6 processor will really be able to create wonders. Siri's performance is also expected to be improved. Maybe the voice assistant will become even smarter.
How about changes in the operating system? Are they likely? Given that iOS 5 is a huge hit at present, the speculations about iPhone 5 having a completely new operating system are quite vague. Some expect the 5th generation smart phone to have software with all the iOS 5 features including the iCloud technology plus a wide range of additional ones. Rumors even call the expected new operating system iOS 6. Some go further and speculate that users will get another 200 new features to the 200 new ones of iOS 5.
In the long term, it is expected that apple will merge its portable device operating system (iOS) and the ones for its computer (OS X). That way, with a singe platform, users will be able to get the same apps across all of their devices. Similarly, they will be able to share music, photos and videos across Macs, iPads and iPhones.
It is not clear what iPhone 5 will and will not have at present. One thing is certain, however, it will be revolutionary.
